| The Census Organization has one of the largest
collection of digitized maps in India. In view of large scale demand
for authentic maps in the country, the Census Organization provides
paper maps in different sizes (A3 to A0 size) in both black and white
and colour. These maps are not allowed to be replicated for commercial
purposes |
| The collection includes the following type of maps: |
- India showing States and Union Territories
- India showing districts
- State showing districts
- State showing CD Blocks
- State showing sub-districts (e.g., tahsil, taluk, etc)
- District showing sub-districts
- District showing village boundary
- Sub-district showing village boundary
- District showing village location
- Town showing Ward boundary
- Ward map showing Census Enumeration Block boundary
- Notional map of Census Enumeration Block
